Who am I?

My name is Megan.

I am recently divorced and about to turn 30. Two really big scary events in life. Currently I reside in a small town just outside of Boston and live with my cat. I love tattoos, cooking, gin and tonics and have a serious penchant for Pinterest. That site makes me believe I can cook and sew anything and everything my heart desires.
I have absolutely zero skills or hobbies (figuring out how to write this one post has taken me about a week and I’m still not sure if I’m doing it right), but whatever- can’t succeed if you don’t try, right?

I grew up in the middle-of-nowhere-Massachusetts and moved out towards Boston in 2005 to finish college. After being a slave to retail for almost 10 years, I landed myself at the job I have now and absolutely adore it.

I have gained and lost hundreds of pounds in my 28 years on this planet. Countless dollars and diets down the drain. On April 23rd, 2014 I am having bariatric surgery- specifically a Gastric Sleeve. This blog is dedicated to how I got here, how I’m choosing to fix it, and my inevitable search for Onederland once again.
